My name is Xavier, but my friends call me X. Born and raised in Jamaica, Queens to two Jamaican immigrants, I was never supposed to be in a creative field. But, inspired by the stories they told and played for me as a kid, I set out to write my own.

I find joy in embedding everything I create with the same love and energy I receive from the world.

I currently live in New York, New York where I work as a Senior Copywriter at Peloton.

• As of 3/22/22, I am a new dad. His name is Lennox and he’s a trip

• I do voice-overs (check out my Black History Month work)

• I created, branded, and made my own rum punch called Wicked Punch

• I love ceramics. Currently saving to buy my own wheel and a place to put it

• Writing wasn’t my first choice. I was initially going to be a physical therapist but Anatomy had no heart, creativity did.
